Your blog: what next?

Hello everyone. Well we're a month or so away from our first birthday (yes, can you believe it was only in November last year we launched!).

Since then we've seen a pretty radical change in lots of the industry, especially around the cost of data access, the opening up of walled gardens and the proliferation of great mobile applications -- not to mention some excellent made for mobile .mobi sites.

Over the past few months we've launched 3next on both PC and mobile, we've appeared on Facebook, we're run a few beta tests and invited some of you to tell us what you think either via email, face to face or in more private focus groups.

So, with all that going on my question to you, dear reader, is what do you think the future of the X-Series blog should be? The balance to date has been to focus on lifestyle stories, new software or gadgets, and less on support or Q&As as we feel this is very much the realm of the 3 business in your country.

But now is the time for a simple question: if you were running this blog, what would you focus on?

Keep your X-Series ideas coming

We've had a great response to our request for ideas on how to make X-Series better.  We will collate these early next week and post the results here on the X-Series blog along with some initial thoughts on what we are doing to incorporate them into the offering.

This means you still have time to give us your view and be included in the results.

Your ideas wanted to make X-Series better!

Here at the X-Series Towers we are always on the hunt for a better mousetrap. In the mobile world, that could mean anything - a faster, easier way of entering information, or a new 'must have' application that lets you manage your day or communicate better with family and friends.

We don't claim to have a crystal ball for the Next Big Thing in mobile. What we DO know is that you, dear reader, are the best-placed person to tell us what you want your mobile to do. We play with the latest, fruitiest phones all day (tough job, we know) and spend a lot of our time talking to people who believe they have the Next Big Thing all sewn up, packaged, ready for you to enjoy.

All this fruit and pressies can distract us from the real issues mobile users are facing daily. That's where you come in.

So, drop us a line with your ideas on what you'd like to see your mobile do. What you see as the 'Top 5' things we could do better, or differently. We can't promise miracles, but we can promise to look at each one with a fresh pair of eyes, and who knows - your wish just might come true.
