Looking for an original present for Christmas? You may like this rabbit-like hat (coniglio means "rabbit" in Italian). You won't find it in shops or Santa's bag: sadly it's just a concept.
The concept, from Miss-Tal, is that when the ears are up you are letting people know that you are available to communicate. Otherwise, when the ears are folded down they let people known that you aren't available, and that you are listening to music.
I don't believe we'll see a lot of these hats on the streets in the next few years but the Coniglio Hat concept reminds me of an interesting topic: how people are managing their availability? And, more importantly, how technology is helping to do that.
This questions are crucial if you consider with how many inputs, digital and otherwise, we are dealing with everyday. I believe that the transparent and simple management of user attention/time will be a key factor also for the evolution of the mobile services. Your thoughts?
