See me, hear me, feel me

Are you spending too much time apart from your loved one?  Just hearing their voice not enough to feel close to them?  Slip on the hug-shirt and the manufacturer, Cute Circuit, claims you can feel your lover's embraces, even though you are miles apart.

As reported in the Daily Telegraph, Ryan Genz Chief Executive of Cute Circuit, says using the technology is, 'as easy as sending a text message, and far more likely to solve a simmering row... As partner number one squeezes tight, the shirt measures pressure, heartbeat and temperature, before using mobile Bluetooth technology to send the data to a second shirt...Partner number two then feels their shirt heating, and tingling, wherever their partner's hands were placed.'  Hugs can also be sent straight from a mobile phone.

Unfortunately, the hug-shirt won't be available this Christmas, but will be launched in 2007. Perhaps this isn't a bad thing as the temptation to keep it on may be too much, and wearing the shirt in the cut-throat crowds of the January sales would probably send the wrong message back to your partner.
